Camp Frequently Asked Questions

Camps can be overwhelming for parents! No fear, East Park has your the answers to your camp questions!

 

IS THERE A CAMP WAITLIST?

The waitlist process is different for the 2024 season. Please complete the following form if the desired camp session and week is sold out. You will be notified via email by one of our East Park staff members if any available spots open up. This email will provide a link to the camp registration forms and any opens spots will be available on a first come first serve basis. You can sign up by clicking here!

 

HOW EARLY CAN I DROP MY CAMPER OFF AND HOW LATE CAN I PICK THEM UP?

Day camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm Monday – Friday. Campers can be dropped off anytime from 8:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. If you require early care, this begins at 7:45 a.m. for a fee of $30.00+tax for the week. Late care is also available until 5:15pm for $30.00+tax or choose early and late for $50.00+tax.

 

WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL MY CAMPER BE ABLE TO DO?

Any activity permitted to be open per government regulations will be available including: waterpark, go karts, batting cages, mini golf, driving range, and bumper cars.

 

WILL MY CAMPER GET TO USE THE WATERPARK?

Yes as long as the weather permits.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF A CAMPER OR STAFF BEGIN SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19?

Should any participant in camp begin to show symptoms of COVID-19, they will immediately be separated from their group and monitored by a camp supervisor. Parents/Guardians will be notified for potential pick up.

 

WHAT SHOULD MY CAMPER HAVE FOR CAMP?

  • Running Shoes (or closed toed sandals)
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks/lunch (lunch unnecessary if purchasing lunch package but snacks still needed) Peanut free lunches/snacks are encouraged
  • Change of clothes (accidents happen, we encourage being prepared)
  • Swim suit and towel
  • Please avoid packing toys from home unless you are comfortable with us sanitizing them upon arrival to camp. A spray sanitizer would be used.

 

CAN I REQUEST MY CAMPER BE IN THE SAME GROUP AS A FRIEND?

Absolutely, please send any grouping requests to campdirector@eastparklondon.com once your registration has been submitted. If you have already submitted this request during the registration process, there is no need to email. This must be done prior to the first Monday of camp. Any grouping requests after camp will not be accommodated.

 

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?

A parent package outlining all important information including drop off and pick up and all required forms will be emailed the week before your camp begins.
